Wow! What a difference interactivity makes! This is no simple display of an equation, you can really see the changes you make. And you can compare functions easily. On my iPhone, I prefer landscape mode because it feels like a game controller moving the function. Try this; type in a*x^2 + b*x +c a*(x-h)^2+k and try to get the two functions to look like each other! You can really see how teachers and students will like this and be able to give students a true "feel" for what makes a function do what it does. Great job!
Great app which has multiple advanced functions and settings. 10 stars out of 5. The app actually makes you understand math through experimentation. You dont have to grudgingly accept the memorize a formula routine that math teachers use. Input the formula and see why it is the way it is. Better than a graphing calculator in experimenting with functions. On the Shodor website there are other helpful applications and curricular enhancements. I recommend this app to those who struggle with equations and functions, those who want to learn about why the graph of a function is what it is, those who work with graphs on a regular basis, and math teachers.
Nice app. Im not a math expert and this is easy to use. I like the ability to make changes to the variables and see the graph change and understand the relationships.

Math Flyer is an adaptation of Shodors Interactivates function flyer with new ideas that come from having smart phones and iPads. This application now allows students to be truly interactive no matter where they are. The cost puts this educational tool at the fingertips of every student with a phone.
